Diplomatic mission

- August 7th, 1960: Establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ivory Coast.

- November 2, 1966: Appointment of the first Japanese Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, HE Mr. Kenichi FUJI.

- May 22, 1969: Appointment of the first Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire in Japan, HE Pierre Nelson COFFI.

To date, the Embassy covers, besides Japan, the Philippines and Singapore.
