His Excellency Mr. IPO GBOLIE W. DESIRE, Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire, opened his remarks by welcoming the members of the group on the occasion of the monthly meeting of the African Diplomatic Corps co-chaired by his country. He thanked his colleagues for their availability and continued commitment, while expressing his deep gratitude to the Dean for his enlightened leadership and sustained dedication to the Corps.
Echoing the Dean’s remarks, he warmly welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia, assuring her of the group’s full cooperation and fraternal solidarity in the discharge of her duties.
He also extended his sincere congratulations to the African countries celebrating their national Day during the month of February.
